Stephanie + Harold | Cherokee & Lemp Historic District | St. Louis, MO

When we met Stephanie and Harold for their wedding consultation and heard their wedding day, we knew we just had to be their photographers and videographers! They had unique plans for their wedding day and we absolutely love when couples are authentic and creative – we believe your wedding should reflect your personalities and style as much as possible! They both are calm, kind, and hilarious hard-working people with epic tattoos and a love for haunted houses, working out, and for being outside.

We decided that the closest we could get to a haunted house for an engagement session (or the closest we felt comfortable getting, anyway) would be the Lemp-Cherokee district in St. Louis. This area is filled with cool old brick buildings being taken over by ivy and nature and is the perfect combination of the two – with an obvious air of a creepy past. After sharing a drink at the Lemp Mansion, we went out into the heat and explored the area. These two had us laughing so much that we hardly noticed that we were sweating through our shirts! We cooled off after the session in Foam on Cherokee Street, where the bartender graciously offered us a cold bottle of champagne to celebrating their engagement with!

We had so much fun hanging out with these two and can’t wait to see what they come up with as far as decor for their unique Fall/Halloween wedding!
