On September 21st, Hayley and Jordan got married outdoors at The Hobbs Building in The Westbottoms of Kansas City, Missouri, surrounded by friends and family. From the moment they had their first look at The Hotel Phillips, it rained – hard, relentless rain. The weather didn’t dampen Hayley and Jordan’s spirits as they sang with their wedding party under clear umbrellas while waiting for breaks in the weather for a few pictures. They even shared a rainy dance together before their ceremony. Rain is supposedly good luck on your wedding day – and they got lucky because the stopped just in time for the chairs to be dried off in time for their outdoor ceremony.
Family and friends laughed, cried, and held hands while Hayley and Jordan exchanged their handwritten vows to each other. After a delicious breakfast dinner, guests enjoyed donuts and watched as Hayley and Jordan danced to ‘Let’s Stay Together’ by Al Green. After about a minute of their first dance, Hayley and Jordan beckoned everyone out onto the dance floor to finish the dance with them. The Charles Glenn Band kept the dance floor full literally all night!
Congratulations, Hayley and Jordan! We are so happy to have been a part of your wedding day and we wish you all the happiness in the world – as well as many more rainy slow dances together.
